It is possible to see that there is no ego. What is seen as a self among many selves dissolves into the awareness of a deeper reality. A reality of a single abiding Self. A reality that dwarfs what occurred before. When this dissolution occurs, the strength and power of Self is highlighted by the apparent weakness and inferiority of the non-reality of conditioned perspective dominated by ego. The former feels like an unmoving Titan and the later a rotting leaf Mid-Fall. When the nature of Self is seen with this clarity, one senses the profound truth of Self. One senses this as if they stand upon a high precipice looking out at a vastness of open sky, sensing the openness of the sky quite clearly from this position. Sensing the deep truth of Self with such clarity and realization, and sensing equally the unreality of conditioned egoic perspective, one's foothold on the path becomes firmer as does their sense of direction improve. Persistence on the path generates such clarity of perception. This allows Self to awaken within human consciousness. We are lucky who know of the Dharma, who sense the Teaching of the Buddha, and have the good sense to follow it. It is the Dharma that brings us to Enlightenment, the Self, liberation from suffering. Only through good works can we be free. We must uncover every rock of delusion and ignorance and false belief to purify our consciousness and to cultivate Wisdom and good sense. Through Wisdom we sense the Way, we know the path, and may achieve Nirvana in our lifetime. Through many lifetimes of service, of good will, of self and spiritual study can we dislodge the knot of karma that perpetuates conditioned consciousness and it's innate prison of suffering. On this path the Way becomes ever clearer and final release becomes imminent. Through the power of consciousness, the weight of ignorance is eliminated. Our highest ambition should be to achieve such an end, and over many lifetimes we should seek to apply ourselves as fully as possible to this achievement. The purpose of the small self is ultimately to irradicate itself in Spiritual realization. It is born to die in the transforming fire of Spirit. This aim is the underlying aim of all aims, the deepest purpose of a human being. When we see with eyes of clear running creek water, we know our deepest and single purpose of incarnation is to become Buddha. The purpose of all life is to eventually become Buddha. Life is the stream that leads to Buddhahood. All souls, all living beings, are little fires making their way to the Great Fire, the Great Flame of Buddha. For this, we should respect them, and treat them with compassion. All things, all living beings, are our siblings, our compatriots on the Journey, blossoming in the Dharma, on the Path. By these things, these beings, do we discover our Buddha-nature and the Buddha or Dharma-Nature of all form. We discover Nirvana through them, through life, which is impossibly beautiful. Seeing the Truth, we see that what we see is the Dharma, and the Buddha. Our community, our Sangha, thus is the Dharma, the teaching, and the Buddha, enlightenment and enlightened being. With clear running creek water clarity, we sense the vastness and fullness of the Sangha, seeing it as the Path to Buddha-hood and also Buddha-hood itself. Each step we take is holy, the Universe is full of Enlightened beings and the infinite blessings of their consciousness. When we see with such eyes, we see that all vibrations are Buddha-vibrations with the sole purpose of bringing about the enlightenment of all beings. All things are God's holy rays so that we may learn of Him. The way He teaches is through the miasma of Samsara, which truly is His way of guiding beings through Perfect Love and Grace to Him. When you see with such eyes, you know you have never been abandoned or misled, that their is no imperfection in the Universe, for all is unerringly guided and carried out by the Power of God through His Divine Will and Master Plan. The Universe is a creation of Spirit and an expression of it. Suffering was created by Spirit for the sake of Spirit, which we are. Suffering is apart of Beauty, of what is Beautiful. It is a part of Bliss. Truly it is a dream created for the sheer Joy that comes through experiencing it. I believe that creation arose because Spirit is infinite and includes the manifestation of it's infinite potential. And as we have fallen asleep, at the same time, we have not, for the reality of Creation is a non-reality, truly non-existent. Reality and all in it is simply Spirit as Spirit and that is what this is.
What's before us is the infinite. The Absolute. All we experience is it. It truly is what we experience. This is it. No thing is outside of it. No time outside of it. Only one thing, the infinite body of being that is God. This is that. All of this is that. This is what and who we are. Their is only Oneness. There is only God. Everything is God-consciousness and God-being. This is it.
