Human kind needs a thorough restitution of soul

What comes from the world only gives so much. What comes from Heaven, Providence fulfills the deepest yearnings of of our hearts and provides the promise of a lasting thorough peace. No heaven from the never reached tomorrow, no heaven in a ever-distant celestial abode, but a heaven living behind the selfish lust and greed of our mortal hearts where the soul of man becomes divine.

We have become skeptical of any sort of heaven, of the reality of what is truly spiritual in the advance of our material sciences and rational world views, believing deeply and invariably that the reason of science and the reality of spirit are incongruous. We hope to believe, yet struggle to breathe with lungs from truly spiritualized being.

We are divided in our approach of what is liberating because of our misunderstanding of what is righteous and good, a confusion of the value of personal liberties with that which is attained through the spiritual discipline of self-restraint. We have over valued the freedom to be self interested and have become self-indulgent to the point of unabashed and narcissism and neglect of our responsibility to our fellow man. More over than neglecting responsibility to our neighbors, we have neglected our principle duty to ourselves, that of upholding the dignity of our own souls, without which social justice is impossible.

Let us rejoice in our advance into the critical powers of reason, yet not let these be divided from the spiritual pursuits of our soul. Let us instead  the underlying marriage and unity of reason and spiritual being.

So dependent are we upon our material senses, sciences and industry, that it has become impossible for most of us to lead a deeply soulful life. We are trapped in our firm belief in the most superficial layer of reality at the expense of the experience of the deeper and truer dimensions of our being.

Until we clearly see that the material cannot bring lasting or deep happiness, we will continue to lust after it with uncontrollable passion. In our search for soul, we wish to make any concession possible for the satisfaction of our sense desires, when these keep us divided from truly spiritualized living. In societies based on hierarchies of material wealth and worldly power, how can the masses discover the wisdom of true spiritual discipline? The oil must be separated from the water.

No amount of sense bound human toil can deliver our societies from the war inherent in material minded consciousness. It requires the salve of soul to heal. And religion bound in divisive dogma is confused religion. Any narrow creed that limits the imagination and advocates for sectarian divisions that lead to hate is based in material minded consciousness, is unloving and contrary to the heart and soul of religion which is Unconditional and Universal Love.

A creed that gives the self unlimited freedom to indulge the senses is equally a confused religion as is described above. The material body and senses and their sense desires do not produce spiritualized consciousness: the deep peace and happiness of the soul. We must correct our confused views if we are to seriously approach this peace.

We must possess a certain amount of soul consciousness to make the decision to abstain from sense-indulgent behaviors, one gained through continual dissatisfaction of the results of material devoted living. With a soulful desire to abstain and awaken, and correct views of what is and isn't soulful or righteous and good, we may proceed successfully along the path.

Our generations must combine reason with spirituality so that social equality and spiritual upstandingness may walk side by side. So that material sciences and their resultant technologies uphold instead of suppress the dignity and rights of human beings. Without spirit and soul, their is no need for morality or civility among us.

The dignity of the soul must be reawakened in the rational worldview. We must rediscover God and spiritual being through a thoroughly developed objective lense that spares no criticism of our mistaken views.

The power of this combination: objective reason and soulful dignity will overtake all other powers that be. Only the soul, the moralized soul can bring to bear the full power of an objective mind. Otherwise the mind and its powers are limited and obstructed by the failures consequent of selfish pursuits. This moral and objective soul will outcompete all other parties through its higher order of strength, ability, and intelligence.

It this party is forced to use dominating will it will only do so as necessary to end unnecessary evils. At it's heart it will promote peace and fairness. Destructive powers must be held in check as we advance toward a more enlightened age.

Eventually, the powers of wisdom will be respected in our communities and deferred to for judgment in all things. The deeper hierarchy of God will become apparent and human society will harmonize itself with it.
