We don't necessarily need to get rid of words such as God or Emptiness, we need to see completely through the contrived and conditioned perspectives that we associate with these words and change the way we use these words so we perpetuate the least amount of ignorance as possible. Jesus and Confucius said they give different answers to the same question to different people according to what they can understand. This is still valid, but less so because of the Age we live in. We are moving into a more enlightened age and the layers of truth continue to be peeled back. Thus now I feel strongly to advocate for a purely objective translation of spiritual truths that will appeal to a small but growing population and that will become the backbone of future spirituality and future society.
A growing number of us need to be able to let go of attachment to the aspects of religion and spirituality that are dogmatic and contrived. We need to let go of our attachment to the aspects of traditional forms that are mythological and archetypal, imperfect and contrived, so that we can be completely objective and have perfect understanding. Then we can decide how we wish to experience or use the mythological/archetypal forms. Personally I feel a vehement compulsion to permanently eradicate all archetypal forms along with all contrivances in my primary approach to spirituality. I am born under the sign of Aquarius so this seems fitting to me. I think in this Age their will be a growing need to liberate ourselves from what is contrived and dogmatic, to end the stories, to see objectively what is here, and to act from this place.
When we are free from contrivances, we do not believe in the mythological reality of archetypes, but see their utility in spiritual practice and may find them appealing to our personal tastes. Many people will continue to employ the traditional practices of their religions in more enlightened ways. I personally at this moment am repulsed by these traditional forms. Perhaps too much so. I am afraid of being contaminated by them, afraid that I will get lost in the form of practice which is heavily archetypal, and lose sight of my core which is free. I think it is also because I want to remain in a place free of archetypes and traditional forms, and I want to propagate a place that is free of these forms. Honestly, at this point in time they make me sick.
I don't like seeing the the eyes of the history of feelings of other people. Part of me does and has enjoyed this in the past, I just want to form an experience that isn't tied to any of this and doesn't create anymore of it. I look forward to a society that has lost all of it's dreaminess.
Here's some of my translations of different stages in spiritual/identity evolution. General stages (many other I could list here)
1. Ego- matter/physical body bound awareness, materialist, impulsive, selfish, egocentric (many stages of ego not listed here)
2. Soul- Primarily identifies with subtle spiritualized feelings, exists in permanent relationship with spiritual body Logos, lower form of Amen/Om, Old testament God
3. Soul as Amen/Om- Soul realizes it is this lower form of Amen, it is Logos, creation is a manifestation of different forms of Logos, now one's own self.
4. God/God's Presence- Logos deepens and all its manifestations merge into one singular expression that is God's presence that is everywhere and everything. One same expression everywhere. The path becomes the Right path, actions become spontaneously righteous.
5. The One- God is fleshed out, Whole and One, the journey is complete, no more effort is required.
6. Unconditioned Being- God dissolves into the Absolute transcendent beyond conditioned form- no identity just unconditioned being. This is both prior and post all stages of development. I think- The Alpha and Omega.
7. Experience is no longer fixed at Unconditioned being- not exactly sure what to write here, going to leave it blank for now and stop here.
Here is a list of the different structures of being/consciousnes:
Ego, soul, logos, God's presence, The One, Unconditioned being.
All of these at least represent structures verified by direct experience of countless individuals across all traditions, just using different words. By my own direct experience as well. They are just as real (in fact more and more real) as the air we breathe, and just as fundamental to our wellbeing as human beings. They exist in dimensions with increasing depth and perhaps increased distance from what we normally experience. What I want to do is to eliminate all contrived notions about these fundamental structures so we can more easily navigate them and employ them in our day to day existence. I want to demyth and demystify them. I want society to see that there are the same structures in all traditions and that they are as normal as a peanut butter sandwich, its all the same terrain once you've been through it. No thing is better than another because their is no ego and everything is the same unconditioned liberty. Yet we exist in personal arcs through this terrain so our relative experience has relative meaning and significance. Our civilization is also going through its own position in a arc through this terrain so to it and us there are particular things of particular meaning and significance. Where once a mythological God fit perfectly it now does not, and work needs to be done to make the transition into what does: Objective religion and objective understanding. .
I see a world in which all institutions, all traditions, and all human efforts are unified under the same objective understanding of reality. I don't see this as a choice between one way and another, but the by-product of increased understanding that slowly pushes back the darkness of ignorance, revealing simply what is already here. People are doing and experiencing the same things everywhere. All the differences are in our minds. We are all apart of the same culture, the same life, and the same experience.
As knowledge becomes assimilated this common sentiment spreads, and the illusion of disidentity will vanish. We will see ourselves everywhere. Even among sentient alien species. The veil is already falling, and accelerating in its descent. The future is surfacing in front of our eyes.
The more we share across culturally, across traditional/conventional divides, the more our language will evolve into refined objective understanding. We are actively being pulled together as we speak towards the dissolution of cultural, traditional, and ethnic boundaries into a common human culture. There is nothing we can do to stop this. The inertia is cosmic. Or at least Galaxial. New fucking word that is dope: Galaxial- pertaining to the galaxy. This is something that I actually think will grow as well. People making up new words that actually make sense yet don't exist, like disidentity- of not being identified with something. Isn't this a good word? It makes sense objectively, this should be the new norm. The old world is swiftly passing, we've already shifted into a new phase, the best we can do is get along with it.
The words that arise and stick will be objective ones in one way or another. The dreamy sentiment of the past will disappear in the mainstream. The ideas we have had about what it means to be a man or a woman, about love and responsibility. All these fucking boxes will go away. And we will be the better for it. It means increased liberty even it means a lot of people will feel increasingly insecure during the transition.
