No ego

There is no ego. Not in ourselves or in anyone. The perception of the ego is born from ignorance and the corresponding belief in the ego. The perception of the ego upholds the perception of a divided universe of various uniquely conditioned forms. This perception of unique and separate conditions that define particular forms is a shroud of illusion obscuring seeing things as they are. When it is clearly seen that their is no ego, anywhere at all, this illusion vanishes and things are perceived more clearly. Our mortal existence has no basis in reality. So it in fact does not exist in any way. This is what is perceived when one withdraws the roots of ego-perception from their own mind, in so extracting and elimination their own mind. With the dissolution of the ego comes the dissolution of a conditioned universe expanding outward in space and time. What is left is the present moment, unbeholden to any subject nor any exacting disposition. It is this moment that lies underneath the dream of ego perception, one that is free of human mentation, or mentation of any kind. The ego that we perceive in others, perhaps less enlightened souls than ourselves, does not dwell in them by their own power, it dwells in them because of our own projected ego-perception and ego-consciousness. When ego-perception and ego-belief are eliminated from our mind, we cease to project it onto the canvas of the external world with external subjects. Regardless of how others behave, or what they perceive, their is no longer, and never has been, any ego. The idea of others disappears as does the idea of being oneself. The moment lives by it's own power and is itself. This is the true and only nature defining reality, in it their are no conceptions of man. When we fall into belief of ourself, due to concern over ourself, we fall into the belief of ourselves existing in an external universe. There must be an accosting external universe to bring about concern of our own welfare. As long as we are afraid for our own well being, we resist what is, and the natural way in which things occur that we have no control over. When we have the power to recognize the complete delusion that is ego-perception, it falls away, and the present moment arises in awareness.

To cultivate this perception, we must turn our attention as best as we can to things as they are. We must cultivate courage and discernment, and the wisdom born from these, to cut through ignorance and delusion. We must give mind, heart, and soul to truth and let it be born within us, following it to the ends of the Earth and back again. We must be willing to do so. Going where we might, but always bringing ourselves and our attention back to the present moment. Back to where we are. So that we may discover who we are, and who we are not. Within all our perceptions lies the undaunted truth, ever-burning within us. From it comes all our power, and all our life. We owe it everything, and we owe this world nothing. The world we know is a dream: a fantasy. It is not real, nor is any of what we believe ourselves to be. We have nothing, and are nothing, which is the same to say as we are everything, and have everything. But, when the ego dissolves and the present moment is perceived, it is known that the world of form is an illusion. Everything and nothing are exactly the same, and there is no thing to be found. What remains is the present moment, and this is something that is not beheld by the human mind.

When nothing else exists, this moment exists. Here. Now. Here. Now.
